Just wanted to wish you success in reaching your goals of making it to Memphis by March 22, raising funds for and awareness of Friedreich's Ataxia. You, your family, and your friends were an inspriation to us here at Whispering Creek, Newton TX. I am sending an article about you and your endeavor to our local newspaper - The Newton County News.

Sincerely,
Pam Wright

I'm not sure I agree with Jim's comments. My wife and I made a 9600 mile trip from our home in Washington state across the country and back last year. We stayed in many different RV parks (all the way from dry camp to 5-star). Most of the parks we stayed at had 50-amp service and the majority of them also had cable TV hookups. While I will grant that there are quite a few "eastern" parks that are older, there are many that are either newer or have upgraded their facilities to things like 50-amp service, sewer hookup at site, and cable TV. Also, there are quite a few "western" RV parks that only have 30-amp (I've seen some with only 20-amp) service. Like almost everything else, there are "goods and bads" in RV parks both on the east coast and on the west coast. Use a book like Trailer Life or Good Sam directories as guidance to the better parks - they aren't usually very far off.
